Deakin University’s Faculty of Health is one of the fastest growing health faculties in Australia, with a research income exceeding $25 million in 2017.
It conducts and supports a broad range of multidisciplinary and translational research across five schools and assist governments, communities and organisations to develop a wide variety of health and social programs and policies.
The School has two world class research institutes; the globally renowned Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition and the brand new Institute for Healthcare Transformation. Additionally, the Faculty has 6 strategic research centres focussed on innovative research in areas including medical research, patient safety and support, sport, early and emotional development, mental health, and population health.
