Diabetes Victoria
Diabetes Victoria is the state’s leading charity and peak consumer body working to reduce the impact of diabetes, the fastest growing chronic condition in Victoria. More than 320,000 Victorians are diagnosed with many more suspected to be living with the condition but undiagnosed.
Established in 1953, Diabetes Victoria helps all people affected by diabetes and contributes significantly to the search for a cure. Its work covers type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes, as well as programs for people at risk.
It is funded through the generous donations of its members and supporters to help fund research, educational events, awareness-raising activities and resources.
