With more than 500 research and support staff on two campuses, its scientists are searching for cures to the complex, debilitating and sometimes life threatening brain disorders that affect three million Australians.
Research at the Centre is focused on translating clinical neuroscience research into improved clinical practice, policy and patient outcomes. The Melbourne Brain Centre is committed to collaboration and works closely with other Precinct Partners, including the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, The University of Melbourne and the Victorian Government.
