Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac)

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is one of the world’s leading cancer research, education and treatment centres and is Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to caring for people affected by cancer.

It has more than 2,500 staff, including more than 580 laboratory and clinical researchers, all focused on providing better treatments, better care and potential cures for patients with cancer.  Peter Mac is a national and international leader in multidisciplinary cancer care and one of a unique group of hospitals worldwide to have its own integrated cancer research program and laboratories. It moved to the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct in 2016 to its new world-class home at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
